K-Fashion in Milano: The Echo of Seoul
With the global spread of Hallyu content, K-Fashion is also expanding its influence on the global stage. Earlier this year, the city of Seoul signed an agreement with the Italian National Fashion Association (Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, CNMI) to actively support the overseas expansion of Korean fashion brands.
As part of the collaboration program, Seoul and CNMI invited five selected brands through a review process: BONBOM, EENK, JULYCOLUMN, MMAM, and youser to showcase an exhibition titled ‘Resonance: Voices of Seoul’ at Milan Fashion Week.
This exhibition was held for five days at the Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan, and on the second day of the exhibition, a K-Fashion conference took place where each brand introduced their collections and networked with local buyers and press.
