new York-based fashion house Barquera is launching the first fragrance in its history, and its first partner is Comme des Garçons Parfums, a house that has built a world of original scents. the collaboration between the two brands is called ” Clasique Perdu” and is based on the unique concept of “lost classics,” recreating scents that exist somewhere in our memories but we’ve forgotten about.
the concept behind the fragrance: in search of ‘lost classics’

this perfume evokes a sense of familiarity yet strangeness, like a perfume you’ve stumbled upon in the corner of an old shelf. the scent embodies abstract memories: the smell of perfume ad pages in 1990s fashion magazines, the freshness of freshly dried hair after a shower, the mysterious air from a childhood car air conditioner, the metallic sparkle of a fountain on a summer day. by combining mystery and nostalgia, we create a unique experience of rediscovering memories from the past through iconic scents that seem to have been forgotten.
scent composition: aromatic, floral, and green

christian Astuguevier, Creative Director of Comme des Garçons Parfums, and perfumer Suzie Le Eli were involved in the creation of the fragrance. The scent is composed of aromatic, floral, and green notes that are both fresh and deep.
- top notes: lavandin, tomato leaf, blackcurrant berry, permanent marker accord

the Vaquera x Comme des Garçons Parfum “Clasique Perdu” will be unveiled at Dover Street Market in Paris and London starting September 30, and will be available at Dover Street Market stores worldwide from the end of October.
