in an era where electric vehicles are rapidly changing the performance bar, there’s still one internal combustion supercar that’s been dubbed the “over-the-top” car. it’s the Porsche 911 Turbo S, a car that combines everyday driving comfort with extreme performance on the track. back for the 2026 facelift model year (992.2), the new Turbo S is even more powerful with Porsche’s revolutionary T-Hybrid technology. More than just a luxury, we dig into everything about this monster at the pinnacle of engineering evolution.
The heart of the T-Hybrid: 701 hp, 2.5 seconds to 60 mph

at the heart of the new 911 Turbo S is the newly developed 3.6-liter T-Hybrid horizontally opposed six-cylinder boxer engine. combined with two electric turbochargers (e-Turbo), it produces a system total output of 701 hp (711 PS) and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. that’s an increase of 61 hp over the previous model, and enables the car to sprint from rest to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 322 km/h. this performance increase is demonstrated by a Nürburgring lap time that is 14 seconds faster than before.
agility beyond its weight: evolved chassis and aerodynamics

despite the additional weight of around 90 kilograms due to the hybrid system, Porsche has achieved even sharper driving performance: the latest Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (ehPDCC) and PASM sports suspension, as well as the wider 325 mm rear tires, reliably transfer the increased power to the road. to maximize cooling efficiency and aerodynamics, we’ve also incorporated vertical retractable flaps at the front and an active front spoiler and rear wing that automatically adjust to driving conditions, reducing the coefficient of drag (Cd) by up to 10%.
evolution in appearance, inheritance in essence

the new 911 Turbo S retains the iconic silhouette of the 992 generation while pursuing functional design changes, such as larger cooling air intakes and new active aero parts. Inside, 18-way sports seats upholstered in premium leather and a high-performance infotainment system are standard, while the “Turbo Night” color, developed exclusively for the Turbo models, is used throughout. the second row of seats and the luggage compartment remain unchanged, further reinforcing the 911 Turbo’s identity as a ‘daily driver’ supercar.
redefining the supercar: From motorsport to everyday life
the 2026 911 Turbo S is the most complete embodiment of Porsche’s brand philosophy of “from motorsport to everyday life”. with its hybrid technology, it’s not just about power, it’s about taking the sports car to the next level of everyday enjoyment. a car that looks like a supercar, feels like a supercar, and can be driven every day. that’s the new standard set by the new Porsche 911 Turbo S.
