Mandarin Oriental Unveils New Hotel Collection in London and Muscat

The luxury hotel brand Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has opened new flagship hotels in the UK and the Middle East. This new collection, located in London Mayfair and Muscat, Oman, is characterized by its modern interpretation of the beauty of nature and tradition.
London Mayfair — An Urban Retreat Resembling a Royal Treasure Chest

Mandarin Oriental Mayfair London is the second Mandarin Oriental hotel in London, located at the heart of Hanover Square. It features over 50 rooms and suites, along with more than 70 private residences, as well as a restaurant and signature bar by world-renowned chef Akira Back and a luxury spa.
The architecture was designed by RSHP (Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners), while the interiors were crafted by Studio Indigo, creating an eco-friendly space inspired by London’s greenery. The reception and lobby are finished with green marble, and the turquoise and emerald tones, marble, and floral-patterned wallpaper harmoniously express the concept of a ‘royal treasure chest.’
Muscat, Oman — An Arabian Essence Infused with Tradition and Craftsmanship

Located in the capital of Oman, Muscat, Mandarin Oriental Muscat is the first Mandarin Oriental hotel in the region, situated in the heart of Shatti Al Qurum, boasting a location that allows guests to enjoy both ancient ruins and the charm of a modern city.
Designed against the backdrop of the Hajar Mountains, this hotel features a total of 103 rooms and over 40 suites, utilizing local natural materials such as ash wood and marble to create an elegant interior. Notably, the bed headboard inspired by the traditional Omani cap ‘Kuma’ and Arabian patterned fabrics are details that embody the region’s unique identity.

Two Cities, Two Sensibilities — Mandarin Oriental’s New Challenge
The project, where the park of Hanover Square meets the deserts of Oman, and the royal sentiment of London intersects with Arabian craftsmanship, showcases an ideal combination of modern luxury and regional heritage. We look forward to seeing how global travelers will experience this new destination.
