Milan Boutique Expands as a Space Where History Meets Modernity

 

The Italian luxury high jewelry house Buccellati is unveiling a richer brand experience with the expansion and renovation of its Milan boutique. With this expansion, Buccellati has newly decorated the Piano Nobile space within the Palazzo Gavazzi building, located in the heart of Italy’s luxury shopping street, creating a harmonious blend of brand heritage and modern sensibility.

Palazzo Gavazzi: Buccellati’s New Stage

Palazzo Gavazzi is a building constructed between 1838 and 1839, renowned for its antique marble façade and grand balcony. Designed in an impressive Neoclassical style by architect Luigi Cirielli, Buccellati has created a space that infuses its identity into this historic location.

The Touch of Chahan Minassian and Studio Quadrilatero

This project was co-designed by Paris-based interior designer Chahan Minassian and Milan’s Studio Quadrilatero. They harmoniously expressed modern sensibility while respecting the existing architectural beauty and Buccellati’s refined identity.

Colors and Materials: A Modern Interpretation of Buccellati Style

The newly configured boutique features a main color palette of gold, luna silver, bronze, and metallic tones, along with various textures such as iridescent silk, champagne-colored mirrors, and wire mesh. The space sensibly conveys the luxury and craftsmanship unique to Buccellati jewelry.

Showcasing Buccellati Vintage Selection and Artisan Work

The front windows of the new store display the maison’s signature jewelry and silverware, as well as a carefully curated vintage collection. Additionally, visitors can witness live demonstrations of engraving by actual artisans, providing a close-up experience of the high jewelry creation process.
