CGV unveiled the world’s first four-sided SCREENX theater (hereinafter referred to as Yongsan SCREENX) in late January. while the previous SCREENX was a three-sided structure utilizing the left and right walls, the expanded four-sided theater extends the screen to the ceiling for amore immersive visual experience. in addition , the Dolby Atmos soundsystem was applied to create richer sound by matching the direction of the sound with the movement of the subject in the video. In addition, reclinerseatswith a wide viewing anglewere introduced to further optimize the viewing experience.

d ‘strict’s ‘FLOW’ was first shown in 2024 at the ‘reSOUND: Beyond Sound‘ exhibition at Outernet London in the UK and Seoul . the work is a digital media art performance that expressesthe flow and characteristics of Western art history from the Middle Ages to post-Impressionism through symbolic dance movements.

the version that will be screened at 12CGV ScreenX theatersis an expansion ofthe original work , addingmore dynamic elements. while the previous version of ‘Flow’ focused on the characters’ dance movements, the ScreenX version of ‘Flow’ allows the on-screen characters to freely move through space, flexibly directing the audience’s gaze. in particular, in Yongsan ScreenX, the ceiling is utilized to emphasize the liveliness of the characters moving across the screen.

on February 28,District won the iF DesignAward 2025 in the Interior Architectureand Communication categories forFlow and Orsay Special Exhibition, respectively. this marks theseventh consecutive iF Design Award win for the company, once again recognizing its creativity and technical prowess in the field of digital media art.

the iF Design Award is a global design award organized by the iF International Forum Design in Germany and is considered one of the world’s top three design awards along with the Red Dot Design Award and the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) . this year’s competition was fierce, with nearly 11,000 entries received from 66 countries aroundthe world , and District was honored to be recognized inboth categories.
