over the past 11 years, Creative Director Jonathan Anderson has led Loewe to new heights. his final journey has been revealed in the Loewe Fall Winter 2025 campaign, which is more than just the start of a new season; it’s a retrospective of his deep love of art and craft and the philosophy he left behind at Loewe.

collaboration with the Fondation Albers: art meets fashion

a key inspiration for this collection came from our collaboration with the Josef and Annie Albers Foundation, an artist couple who are among the leading figures of 20th-century abstract art. their artistic world is reflected throughout the collection.

josef Albers’ colors: The geometric color scheme of his masterpiece Homage to the Square is echoed in Loewe’s iconic Puzzle Bag, Amazona Bag, and Flamenco Clutch, giving them a sculptural aesthetic.

ani Albers‘ weaving: The painterly weaving technique of Ani Albers, which used thread as its primary material, is reimagined in the unique surface textures of coats and dresses, especially the strapless dresses, which are woven with multiple strands of beading and are works of art that blur the boundaries between craft and fashion.

campaign: Fusing personalities and collections

the campaign images, captured by photographer Arnaud Lazuny, capture the moment when personalities and collections merge seamlessly. from actress Zhang Ziming, Loewe’s Global Ambassador, to Leslie Manville, Felix Camerer, and more, the images are both powerful and intuitive, as each personality brings their own unique take on Anderson’s final collection.

jonathan Anderson joined Loewe in 2013 and is credited with bringing the brand to its most modern and contemporary position over the past decade with his signature wit and artistic flair. The Fall/Winter 2025 collection is a “scrapbook of ideas” that looks back on his journey. presented as a presentation instead of a runway show, the collection is a retrospective of his career, encompassing many of the signature styles he created at Loewe, including leather jackets that look like they came out of a document shredder and exaggeratedly voluminous knits.
