global fashion brand UNIQLO and world-renowned artist KAWS have teamed up to create a new knitwear collection, KAWS WINTER, which will be available at UNIQLO stores nationwide and online starting Friday, December 5.

the collaboration between the two brands, which has been known for its T-shirt-centric UT line, has expanded into knitwear for winter. The collection, which has been warmly received since its debut in Japan and the U.S., marks the first time Kaus has expanded his worldview across UNIQLO’s lifewear.

the collection focuses on the quality of materials, with cashmere, soft lambswool, and souffléyan – the “jewel of textiles” – as the mainstays, with the kids’ line in particular featuring souffléyan mixed with cotton yarn to reduce skin irritation. The garments are embroidered with Kaus’s signature “COMPANION” and “XX” motifs in a subtle embroidery that balances the sophistication of everyday wear.
