Hermès Milan Design Week 24

Hermès showcased a collection of home objects that embody new and eternal values at the 24 Milan Design Week (Salone del Mobile 24).

Held from April 16 to 21, this event featured Hermès presenting objects harmoniously blending the brand’s unique heritage with a modern sensibility, themed around ‘Earth’.

Harmony of Earth and Craftsmanship

In this exhibition, Hermès utilized natural raw materials such as brick, stone, and slate, modernly reinterpreting the silk jersey pattern of the equestrian motif, a symbol of the house.

The equestrian silk blouse, a core of Hermès’ cultural heritage, infused inspiration into various leather products and textile designs, showcasing timeless elegance.

Diapason d’Hermès

A lounge chair that harmonizes a leather seat with a hammer-finished aluminum frame, embodying both minimalism and luxury.

Voltige d’Hermès

A stem chair made from two-tone braided leather, inspired by equestrian culture. Its sleek design and restrained details stand out.

Derby

A collection of blankets, baskets, and table centerpieces crafted based on Hermès’ leather craftsmanship.

Notably, the basket, completed by hand-punching and stitching leather strips, and the table centerpiece using inlay techniques stand out.

Amalte Myriad

A classic watch and jewelry box wrapped in leather on all sides, based on a wooden frame.

An artistic piece with ink coloring and intricate patterns engraved by the artisan’s hand.

Tressage Équestre

A 27-piece tableware collection commemorating the bond between horse and rider, intricately expressed through passementerie and braiding techniques.

Textile Works Completed with Artisan Spirit

Through this exhibition, Hermès also shed new light on textile objects.
