top 5 Predictions for the 2025 Ballon d’Or Not too long ago, we introduced you to the players ranked 6th through 10th in our predictions for the 2025 Ballon d’Or. We’re still nine months away from the award ceremony, and the players are changing every month, so we hope you’ll take this as a guide and let us know in the comments where you think they should be. Let’s take a look at who we think will be in the top 5 for the 2025 Ballon d’Or
1st place: Mohamed Salah: liverpool
mohamed Salah is the top of my January prediction for the 2025 Ballon d’Or. He’s always been in contention for the EPL’s top goalscorer and top assister every season, but this season he’s putting up numbers that suggest he could win both. If he wins the league title and the top goalscorer and top assister, I think he’ll win the 2025 Ballon d’Or
runner-up: Vinicius Junior: real Madrid
second place in the January 2025 Ballon d’Or prediction is Vinícius Junior, who narrowly missed out on the 2024 Ballon d’Or, and I think he’ll want the 2025 Ballon d’Or more than anyone else. Vinícius has been in great form this season, but with Salah and Zafinha in such good form as fellow wingers, it will come down to who can stay injury-free until the end
3rd place: Hapinha Team: FC Barcelona
my third place prediction for the 2025 Ballon d’Or as of January is Hafinha. With 11 goals and 6 assists in 19 appearances in La Liga 24/25, Hafinha is having one of the most spectacular seasons of his career. He’s been a key part of Barcelona’s attacking core this season and I think he’s a strong contender to make it all the way to the end
4th place: Jude Bellingham: real Madrid
in fourth place in our January 2025 Ballon d’Or prediction is Jude Bellingham, who has seven goals and five assists in 15 league games this season, and while he hasn’t scored as many goals in the early going as he did last season, he’s been steadily racking up the attacking points. Real Madrid nearly fell out of contention for the title earlier this season when they lost ground to FC Barcelona, but the return to form of Bellingham, Mbappe, and Vinicius has seen them climb to the top of the league
5th: Lewandowski: FC Barcelona
last but not least, Robert Lewandowski is the fifth player in our January 2025 Ballon d’Or prediction. He’s the oldest player in the top five, but he’s showing no signs of slowing down. his attacking trio with Ramin Yamal and Xavi is arguably the best in Europe this season, and with one attacking point per game, it will be interesting to see if he can maintain his form until the end.
