kylian Mbappe is ranked 6th in our predictions for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

He didn’t make it into the top 5 of our predictions because he hasn’t been as good at Real Madrid as he was at PSG.

however, he’s settled into the team and continues to rack up points, and is currently tied for third in the league in goals. it’s hard to see him winning the top scorer award in his first season in La Liga, as he’s far behind Lewandowski, but there’s still plenty of time before the Ballon d’Or ceremony, so there’s still time for him to improve his predicted ranking.

7th place: Elling Holland Team: Manchester City

coming in at number seven on our predictions for the 2025 Ballon d’Or is Elling Holland.

holland was inevitably criticized when Manchester City struggled for a few games, during which he lost the top scoring spot to Mohamed Salah and his confidence was visibly dented

however, he has since bounced back to form and is now second in the EPL’s goalscoring charts, threatening Salah.

8th: Jamal Mbappe Playing for: Bayern Munich

coming in at number eight on our 2025 Ballon d’Or predictions is Kim’s teammate, Jamal Moussaouialla

mkhitaryan has been a force to be reckoned with this season, leading Munich to a first-place finish in the league. He is fourth in the league in goals and has improved every season.

if he can lead his team to more points and a league title this season, he’ll not only increase his price tag, but also his Ballon d’Or predictions.

9th: Ramin Yamal Playing for: FC Barcelona

the ninth player on our 2025 Ballon d’Or predictions is Ramin Yamal.

a player who has shown dramatic improvement every game since last season, Yamal burst onto the scene at Euro2024 and led his country to victory

he has been an ace for FC Barcelona this season and his price tag has risen dramatically, and he now boasts the highest price tag of any right winger in the world.

10th: Virgil van Dijk Playing for: Liverpool

rounding out our 2025 Ballon d’Or predictions at number 10 is Virgil van Dijk.

he’s the only center back in the top 10 and has been solid at the back this season, leading the league with the fewest goals conceded and first in the league.

at 91 years old, he’s in his mid-30s, but he’s showing no signs of slowing down, and while he may be at an age where a move elsewhere may be difficult, he’ll hopefully be treated well at Liverpool and remain a legend.
