2025 Milan Salone del Mobile: Illuminating the Future of Human-Centered Design

The heart of the 2025 Milan Design Week, Salone del Mobile once again attracted numerous visitors from 37 countries around the world, achieving great success with the theme of the future of human-centered design. The event’s theme, ‘Thoughts for Human’, encompassed not just product displays but also the coexistence of humanity, sustainability, and cultural imagination.

Euroluce: Redefining the Meaning of Light

The lighting fair ‘Euroluce’ held after two years served as a platform for experiments that bridged technology and emotion. Italy’s leading lighting brands Artemide and Flos showcased works utilizing eco-friendly light sources and new materials, while the International Lighting Forum discussed a multidisciplinary approach to lighting under the theme ‘Light for Life and Space’.

Es Devlin’s ‘Library of Light’: An Art Where Publicness Meets Literature

Stage designer Es Devlin installed a large rotating sculpture in the courtyard of the Brera Art Gallery. Inspired by Umberto Eco’s words that books are the compass of the mind, this work guided visitors to literary contemplation through an immersive space combining light, reading, and music.
