This unexpected performance features Bach’s Goldberg Variations and a new work by composer Lee Ha-neul …Round and velvety-smooth blend…, among other special repertoire. Originally scheduled to be unveiled at the Tongyeong International Music Festival recital on March 30, the performance date has been moved up as a gift for fans. Lim Yoon-chan’s agency stated, “This performance is a surprise event planned for fans who have been looking forward to the Goldberg Variations,” adding, “It is a guerrilla performance, not part of a formal recital tour, made possible by the talent donation of the artist and Mok Production.” What makes this performance special is that Lim Yoon-chan will not receive any performance fee, and all proceeds will be donated to help pediatric patients at the Virgin Mary Medical Center. Additionally, without any sponsorship or support, ticket prices have been set at 50,000 won (R seat) and 30,000 won (S seat), allowing for more seats to be offered to general fans. Tickets can be reserved through Ticket Link and the Goyang Cultural Foundation, and the performance will take place at the Goyang Aram Nuri Arts Center in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, for 100 minutes without an intermission.
