the Walt Disney Company Korea is celebrating its 100th anniversary and the release of its new commemorative film, WISH, with a special experience. held at Nudit in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, Disney Centennial Pop-Up: House of WISHis an immersive exhibit that lets guests experience the stories of dreams and hope that Disney has brought to life over the past 100 years. with more than 10,000 visitors in its first six days, here are some of the highlights of the pop-up.
a magical journey through three themes
the pop-up utilized a two-story space and was organized around three core themes: Inspiration, Legacy, and Wish. with colorful character facades, lighting, and interactive media art, the space transports visitors into the magical world of Disney.
inspiration: the beginning of a dream

at the beginning of the exhibit, the “Inspiration” zone traces Disney’s earliest footsteps, beginning in 1923 with a desire to share dreams and hope. recreated work environments, including Walt Disney’s actual stereo phonograph and sketchbook, and 100th anniversary holographic art capture the spirit of the master.
legacy: Wishes Come True


the next “Legacy” zone captures the miraculous moments when Disney Princesses’ cherished wishes came true.
- featured characters: Snow White, Cinderella, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Jasmine from Aladdin, Tangled, Elsa from Frozen, and more
- experience points: Key scenes from each movie are realized as interactive media art, giving visitors a highly immersive experience that makes them feel like they are part of the animation.
wish: A New Forest of Hope

the “Wish” zone, the finale of the pop-up, is themed after the 100th anniversary animation “Wish,” which is scheduled to be released on January 3 next year. Inspired by the “magical forest” where the film’s protagonist Asha’s wish was fulfilled, the twinkling lights and mysterious atmosphere that envelope the entire room are breathtaking [web:1]. In particular, the interactive experience that changes the color and mood of the space adds to the unforgettable fun for visitors.
more than 500 items of collectible merchandise
after visiting the exhibition, there is a merchandise shop where you can collect your own Disney memorabilia. There is a lineup of about 500 products ranging from <Wish> and Disney Princess-themed dolls, figures, key rings, pouches, and other accessories to small kitchen items and office supplies.
