location: Outside Bang Na When it opens: q4 2024 Architect/Design: Foster + PartnersLocated on the outskirts of Bangkok, Forestias is a smart city project that blends nature and technology, and the Six Senses Residences, located to the south of it, is a luxury villa complex that combines luxury and wellness. the 27 residences are built on a nature-friendly biofilmic design, with undulating aluminum roofs that not only allow for solar panels but are also functional for drainage. infinity pools, bamboo-screened terraces, and outdoor spaces maximize relaxation in nature. with more than 500 species of flora and fauna native to the area, a ‘canopy walk’ allows residents to move freely between the forest, health facilities, and community spaces

location: yan Nawa When it opens: q3 2024 Architect/Design: OnionKing’s Bangkok is the authentic Thai branch of the UK’s King’s College School and follows the same educational philosophy and curriculum. the recently renovated library, cafeteria, and college admissions preparation center were designed to create an atmosphere appropriate for each purpose through color and structure. the cafeteria is decorated in a soothing baby blue color scheme that serves as a relaxing space during lunch breaks, while the admissions center offers a calming navy tone for older students. the library uses orange and bronze hues to create an environment conducive to concentration, while a variety of furnishings and screening treatments ensure student privacy.
